Electronic Patient Records are a great way for clinical professionals working in the Audiology field to collate and store all clinical documentation, scheduling, invoicing, and other key clinical management features. Cellma allows for specialist fields to be included in the Electronic Patient Records module and caters to specialist Audiology and speech pathology assessments to be included in the clinician’s recording of all the patient’s information.
Very few clinical management software caters to every individual need of the practice management process, more so specialist fields but Cellma with its full modular suite speaks directly to key aspects of practice management. Other clinical management software tend to address specific business processes within the practice without integrating seamlessly to every other aspect. With Cellma, the Electronic Patient Record captures every action -financial, clerical, or clinician that the patient has undergone and compiles and collates the data into one cohesive record.
At every step of the Audiology appointment, the patient’s data is recorded. With the current push for online appointments and virtual consultations, Cellma provides the option for practices to use patient portals that facilitate virtual consultations or if opting for a physical consultation, booking an online appointment with the speech pathologist or audiologist could also be facilitated through the Patient App.
As it pertains to the doctor’s visit or recording of medical information. Within the Electronic Patient Record customised assessments comprising of hearing assessments and immittance audiometry assist in adding notes to the patient’s records. These assessments are structured as either clickable steps to the assessments or with the option of free text for the doctor to add in additional details. Each phase of completed assessments is presented in the patient summary where the attending physician is recorded with additional details such as the date and time of the completed examination for auditing purposes.
Any prescriptions/medications prescribed by the doctor are also available on the patient profile in the Electronic Patient Record. E-Prescriptions included in the patient summary can also be pushed to the Patient App. The Electronic Patient Record is an electronic summary of the patient’s medical file. This information can be accessed (once assigned appropriate privileges) by other doctors or healthcare professionals within the practice so that any assessment or screening undergone by personnel within the practice would be updated on the patient’s file without duplication.
Cellma allows for unique patient records which include all clinical, financial, and clerical information in one “go-to” location. Authorised personnel can have access to this record by role but also any actions or to the patient would be time-stamped and include the name of the healthcare professional involved.
