Another success for Cellma - Worthing & Southlands NHS Trust
The Database for the Osteoporosis Service at Worthing & Southlands NHS Trust was upgraded to Cellma in September. We had a few initial teething problems that were swiftly amended by the RioMed team. These were related to customising the database so as to have a more bespoke system that met the requirements of the osteoporosis service at Worthing.

Being able to complete assessments in clinic with the patient has made the service more rounded and time efficient, it has also become an educational tool by means of increasing patient knowledge by linking their assessment with their scan results.

We are currently in the process of developing the service further with regards to our patient’s on intravenous therapy. Cellma will enable us to keep up to date records of these patients and set reminders for continuing intravenous therapies.

In a short space of time, Cellma and the RioMed team have helped us to offer a more comprehensive service and to plan future developments.

It is early days yet and therefore we have not carried out any audits using Cellma.

The support we have received from RioMed either by phone or email has always been incredibly supportive and they have always ensured that our needs and the benefit to the patient have been met.
