We are working with The Health Information Research Unit [HIRU] which can link anonymised datasets drawn from Cellma to other datasets from primary care, hospital admissions, accident and emergency, child health dataset, pathology and laboratory results.

This linking of anonymised routinely collected data allows information to be collected on the long term follow-up of patients. This joined up approach can be used to inform treatment and improve research in the field of arthritis.

Cellma will thus form the nucleus of an important information resource on arthritis, which will improve the evidence for services, treatments and care for people with arthritis.
