New clinical software improves osteoporosis services in Ceredigion
The National Osteoporosis Society and the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons awarded a grant to the Ceredigion and Mid Wales NHS Trust to improve osteoporosis services in the area.The grant will allow the Trust to improve their current service with RioMed's CELLMA, an electronic database which will streamline the assessment of patients. This will improve the management of patients and allow the Trust to monitor the performance of the service. Debbie Stone from the Ceredigion Support Group said: "The Ceredigion National Osteoporosis Society Support Group is absolutely delighted to learn that the National Osteoporosis Society and the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons will be funding the Cellma electronic database for the Ceredigion Integrated Osteoporosis Service that is based in Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth, Ceredigion. Allison Williams, Chief Executive of Ceredigion and Mid Wales NHS Trust said: "Ceredigion and Mid Wales NHS Trust is delighted with the news that we have been successful in securing funding from the National Osteoporosis Society Osteoporosis Scanning Services Development Programme (OSSDP) for the development of a patient information system. We are extremely proud of our local osteoporosis service which provides world-class care for our patients. |
