We at RioMed are currently installing our software into numerous hospitals and clinics in Trinidad and Tobago (Caribbean). One of them is the Cyril Ross Nursery. This nursery is home to just under 40 children who have HIV or AIDS. They are either orphaned or abandoned by their parents due to the stigma of the disease. As you can imagine clothes and toys are sparse. The nursery is run by an organisation associated with the Catholic Church and is funded by donations. Hyacinth Cross (administrator) begs and borrows wherever she can to provide these children with clothes and toys.We (RioMed) have been asked for colouring books and pencils for the children to occupy them over the summer holidays which we are going to send with our MD when he goes out to TT in a week. But we thought... we (that means you too) can do better than that! Why not send them toys as well? So I'm asking you to read this and dig out any toys or clothes that you can donate and to pass on this website to your network of friends and so on, so we build up a good few boxes of goodies to send them.
RioMed will pay for the postage to send it all to Trinidad. You only need to get them to me, Claire Wyatt in Chandlers Ford, UK.
