|Enterprise Wide Cellma|
Serving the whole of South Trinidad Cellma will be used by over 60 individuals at Gulf View Medical Centre to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of patient care.
Gulf View has deployed Cellma for patient administration and scheduling, electronic patient records, finance and billing and reporting. This will see the service transformed to a paperless environment and ensure all patient data is held on one record; facilitating informed decision making and patient safety.
A key driver in this project is improved patient care; Cellma is accessible from every terminal in the hospital and on mobile devices connected to the hospital network. This will facilitate use at the point of contact whilst moving across wards and around the hospital.
Cellma will also allow the hospital to ensure more accurate billing, recording all activities within a care episode. The billing process is now fully automated, eliminating the possibility of human error or duplication of effort.
Further phases of the project will see Gulf View deploy other Cellma modules, including theatre and surgery, supplies and inventory management, ward and bed management and interfaces with pathology and imaging.
RioMed’s team on the ground in Trinidad have worked with Gulf View to ensure a smooth transition to Cellma using change and risk management expertise. This deployment took 12 weeks from agreement to proceed to go live.
