Singleton Hospital go-live with Cellma

The 14th December 2011 saw Singleton Hospital in Swansea go-live with Cellma to manage all osteoporosis patients.

The Nuclear Medicine Department, based at Singleton, provide osteoporosis patients with DXA scans in order to aid diagnosis and monitor on-going care. This includes the use of a mobile DXA unit which regularly visits other hospitals, thereby serving a vast population.

Cellma is a comprehensive health information system designed for use at the point of contact, delivering full clinical and managerial functionality. The benefits Singleton Hospital Osteoporosis service will realise include;
