World Healing Day was coined on December 31st 1986, as a planetary affirmation of peace, love, forgiveness and understanding, involving millions of people in a simultaneous global mind link. The project was born out of research at Princeton University , which found that in times of great human tragedy, human conciousness should be focused on a healing intention together for 24 hours.
The purpose of the event is to cleanse the mind from negativity, and achieve a critical mass of spiritual consciousness, encouraging peace on earth. Since its inception, annually, World Healing Day events have been held in hundreds of cities in over 65 nations, spanning 6 continents. In today’s society, all steps in the direction for positive change should be encouraged. RioMed acknowledges this and therefore is in support of all World Healing Day activities.
