Annually natural disasters, conflicts and other emergencies threaten the lives and health of millions of people. In the midst of this, there are dedicated humanitarian workers who work dedicatedly to care for those who have been affected.
On World Humanitarian Day, WHO and other international bodies acknowledge these hard workers, and pay recognition to those who have been killed or injured while performing their vital roles. We at Riomed would also like to pay tribute to these committed humanitarians. We extend our full support to the event being held this year on August 19th, carrying the theme “I am a humanitarian aid worker”.
