RioMed have successfully completed Go Live of Cellma for another Emergency Medicine site in the Caribbean. Trinidad’s North Central Regional Health Authority (NCRHA) has opted to deploy Cellma into its Adult Emergency department in order to provide 24 hr, integrated electronic management of all letters, assessments, scheduling, communications and laboratory processes within the department.

Two hundred new users have been fully trained on the system, with a rate of 4000 logins per week, verifying Cellma’s intuitive, graphical and user-friendly interface.

As RioMed continues to act as a flexible and dynamic provider of healthcare software, Cellma’s core Electronic Patient Record (EPR), Patient Administration & Scheduling (PAS), and Laboratory Information System (LIS) modules have been tailored to meet the unique requirements of the NCRHA’s Emergency Medicine Department. The NCRHA will therefore benefit from a highly client-defined healthcare software program and will realise immediate quality, efficiency and safety gains within the Emergency Medicine Department.

In light of Cellma’s exceptional performance at the hospital, Cellma’s services are additionally set to expand to the NCRHA’s Paediatric Emergency Department over the coming months.
