Access to health records by patients: Convenience with a click

For many years, patients have been excluded from viewing their health records.  With the advent of digital health, we now live in an advanced stage of information availability. Digital transformation has allowed for up-to-date information and advice to be readily available to those who wish to make more informed decisions about their healthcare. Now patients can become more involved with their healthcare providers. Cellma’s apps and modules offer these services to patients while on the move, or from their digital devices. 

We conducted a recent field survey which indicated that most patients are interested in being able to have or access a copy of their health information.  

Here are some of the benefits and services that patients can make the most of, in conjunction with their clinic or doctor:

2. One Patient, One Record: All of your medical information and history in one place, without duplication. Our system prevents the duplication of information on your patient record. 
3. Digitisation: Patients can receive quick attention as information is readily available with the click of a button. 
4. Insurance details: Patients can also access their financial information and insurance transactions. Should you wish to know what, where, when or how much you have spent, you can easily go through your patient portal to find this information. These are listed by date. 
5. Export personal health information. With the patient in control of their own health data, this can also equip them with the resources should they wish to seek another opinion. In instances where a specialist may be recommended, this information can be exported or shared with the second doctor.  
6. Authorisation and Security: Only authorised users, e.g. clinics, doctors and patients, have permission to view patient records. Cellma allows for strict privacy and information governance rules. This ensures that only those authorized to view this information can see it.
