Main Responsibilities

Person Requirements

The post holder would be a member of the IT team that is responsible for developing and supporting our software products.

The Project Manager is responsible for facilitating the planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling of RioMed’s projects. Duties include creating project plans, tracking progress, monitoring workplan execution, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager provides direct supervision to the Project Administrator in the execution of his/her duties.

The Project Administrator is required to assist in the planning, execution, monitoring and controlling of projects.   • Engage in client meetings to obtain detailed information about their duties and processes and documenting these finding, in addition to making recommendations to the Project Team Lead and other managers.
  • Perform process improvement reviews for clients by documenting, analyzing process flows for areas of deficiencies and assist in providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Guide change management and project management activities for clients.
  • Establishes effective working relationships with the clients at all levels, including Government Ministries/Departments, Consultants, Contractors, and other agencies.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or pertaining to personal development, job enrichment and opportunities for learning

Requirements

  • Degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Management, or other Social Science with courses in Project Management.
  • Project Management Certification in either PMP, CAPM or Prince 2 would be considered an asset.
  • A minimum of one (1) working years’ experience within a Project Management or IT field, preferably in the health sector of Trinidad and Tobago.
  • Sound working knowledge of project management techniques, tools, and software.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
