Bharati Hospital and Research Centre (BHRC) is now using Cellma, our healthcare management software, to manage patient records electronically throughout the care pathway.
BHRC is a 1200 bedded tertiary care multispecialty hospital located in the city of Pune, India. Established in the year 1990, Bharati Hospital & Research Centre is a top player in the category of hospitals in Pune. This well-known establishment acts as a one-stop destination servicing customers both local and from other parts of Pune. BHRC is run by Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical Foundation and is affiliated with Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Medical College for teaching purposes. And currently, more than 100 users are actively using cellma, servicing more than 800 out-patients daily.
Cellma has been designed to provide full clinical and managerial functionality, integrating seamlessly with other systems to provide an unrivalled healthcare system. The modular arrangement of the software offers a scalable, interoperable system providing a complete software solution, including Electronic Patient Record, for use by a single healthcare professional or an entire health network like BHRC.
Cellma is RioMed’s flagship software package that is assisting BHRC to seamlessly manage data accumulated from these sources. Our rigorous development process incorporates feedback from clinicians, hospital managers and IT professionals both within the UK and the Caribbean.
RioMed is currently deploying Imaging, Lab, Outpatient Department, Point of Sale and Finance modules at BHRC. We continue to work with BHRC to streamline rest of their hospital processes.
With Cellma’s Imaging module, healthcare professionals in BHRC are efficiently managing all imaging requests, results and reports including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, USG etc across their organisation. Cellma’s one patient, one record policy ensures that all requests, images and reports are linked with and stored within the correct patient record. This ensures that all data is accessible to any associated healthcare professional from any location.
Cellma’s Lab module is helping laboratories at BHRC to process and report on all tests requested from healthcare professionals within or outside of their network. Cellma is facilitating services to various sub-categories of Labs including clinical pathology, microbiology, histopathology etc. All test requests and reports are managed electronically enabling the creation of a paperless or paper-light environment.
Cellma’s OPD module is a complete solution for electronic record keeping and data processing of OPD management in BHRC.
Cellma’s Finance and Point of Sales modules provide the ability for applicants to be invoiced and make payments for the services delivered in BHRC. The finance module is fully integrated within Cellma so allows the Cellma users to navigate seamlessly to this module. Insurance claims can be generated dependent on any contractual arrangements between the BHRC insurance providers.
We are thrilled to collaborate with BHRC to help them provide specialty and super specialty services to its patients under one roof. Currently, the hand holding period is taking place during which RioMed’s Project Manager is working closely with BHRC to adequately prepare the local support team.
BHRC teams are being contacted weekly by the RioMed support team, to respond to any queries or to resolve any outstanding issues that the site may experience in the initial stages of using Cellma.
