Cellma has expanded its services within the British Virgin Islands (BVI), which has come hand in hand with a much anticipated new hospital build within the area. The new state of the art hospital houses 120 beds and provides services to the entire population of the BVI.
All Cellma modules have been deployed at this site, and will provide healthcare professionals with a fully integrated and seamless electronic hospital management system. In particular, Cellma’s EPR, PAS and Finance modules will be central in providing the hospital with electronic management of important daily tasks such as:
Cellma’s Finance module will provide the site with accurate patient level costing information, and reports on service expenditure which will allow optimal management of resources and enable the site to meet local and national requirements of Commissioners. Additionally, bills will be generated and payments collected for each patient episode.
RioMed will work with the site to further implement new ‘Dietary’ and ‘Maintenance’ modules over the coming months, and this will enable healthcare professionals to electronically determine and keep track of patient dietary requirements. Additionally, kitchen staff will be able to receive electronic meal requests and update menu meal availability within Cellma.
