Cellma’s Electronic Patient Record module has gone “live” in the Caribbean islands of Antigua and Barbuda as part of a Non-Communicable Disease Registry launched by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment. The project was funded by the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO) and would be used to capture all NCD cases in addition to highlighting patients at risk of developing NCD’s. Additionally, using Cellma’s reporting platform the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment would be able to produce tabular and graphical reports and also conduct disease mapping by geographical area. RioMed’s Lead Project Manager – Colin Kowlessar conducted training workshops with the staff of the pilot sites, namely, Browne’s Avenue, Clare Hall, All Saints Clinic and Gray’s Farm Clinic.
