RioMed continues to provide an efficient after sales service through its continuous interaction with the Ministry of Health and Wellness of St Lucia. Cellma has been implemented island wide as an integrated health network since 2017. This implementation assists with relieving the outpatient burden of healthcare professionals at the hospitals within the healthcare sector.
During the month of February 2020, RioMed’s TT Project management team visited the island’s hospitals for floor walking, training and general project management duties to ensure consistent and reliable service of the Cellma application. At the Owen King EU Hospital, floor walking for the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and Patient Administration and Scheduling (PAS) modules was conducted. Training was conducted at Victoria Hospital and St Judes Hospital where all doctors, nurses and medical records staff were thoroughly trained to use EPR. Staff at the National Mental Wellness Centre was also trained on the entire pharmacy module – from prescription creation through to dispensing. Finance training and stock inventory was also facilitated at St Judes Hospital.
RioMed continues to provide the Ministry of Health and Wellness with effective management and customer service to ensure Cellma’s obligation to providing an integrated and seamless electronic hospital management system to the St Lucian population.
