Position: HR MANAGER
REPORTING TO: REGIONAL MANAGER & GLOBAL HR DIRECTOR
RioMed is a leading clinical software company based in the UK. Our core business function is developing and delivering clinical applications. We provide customised solutions to meet the specific requirements of healthcare professionals. Our mission is to improve healthcare at the point of delivery through patient participation and real time data capture. RioMed has been delivering clinical solutions nationally and internationally since 1997, in a variety of communicable and non-communicable disease areas including, HIV, sexually transmitted disease, Osteoporosis, Elderly Care, Rheumatology, Cardiology and Diabetes.
The overall purpose of the job is to facilitate the daily running of human resource management in the RioMed Offices for Trinidad and remotely for the UK. HR Manager should have good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. The ideal candidate will also have sound communication skills, excellent organizational skills as well as experience in human resource management.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and maintain personnel records.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Collaborate with global HR team on execution of strategy.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee and manage the performance appraisal process.
- Discuss employees’ career development and monitor the goals and training register.
- Update internal databases including sick leave, annual leave and any other leave.
- Prepare HR documents, such as employment contracts and new hire guides.
- Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance.
- Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. Bradford score)
- Ensure HR addresses employees’ requests, issues and grievances.
- Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
- Liaise with HR Director for implementation of policies.
- Organize learning and development in conjunction with the Training Coordinator
- Participate in HR projects.

ESSENTIAL
- Degree or certifications in Human Resource Management, Business Management or related discipline
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in human resources or similar environment
- Solid understanding of labour legislation
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communications abilities.
DESIRABLE
- International experience is desirable.
- Management experience is desirable.
